Membership Levels

RAMPxchange connects organizations with trusted providers, streamlines procurement, and supports cybersecurity decision-making. To maintain a high-quality marketplace, all organizations begin with a free Community membership application. Once approved, members will receive an email to activate their account, select membership level, and then access the marketplace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about RAMPxchange membership, including benefits, requirements, onboarding, and how membership helps you get more value from the platform.

What makes RAMPxchange different from a traditional marketplace?

RAMPxchange is more than a place to find providers or opportunities. Members gain access to a structured cybersecurity engagement platform that combines marketplace access, procurement support, cybersecurity expertise, risk insights, and collaboration tools to help organizations make more informed decisions and achieve better outcomes.

Do I need a paid membership to use RAMPxchange?

No. Organizations can join through the Community membership and gain access to the marketplace, including RFx participation, profile management, ratings and reviews, and limited cybersecurity or procurement support.

How quickly can I get started?

Organizations registering as a buyer of services can create an account, complete their profile, and begin exploring opportunities immediately.

Those joining as a seller (or both) will be reviewed and approved.  This will typically be within 24-48 hours of registering but may take longer when the registration is missing information or the security questionnaire is not completed.

Why should I upgrade from a free Community Membership?

Upgrading your membership unlocks enhanced tools, support, and visibility to help you get more value from the RampXchange platform, including:

  • Dedicated procurement and cybersecurity support
  • Feedback and insights to strengthen future solicitation responses
  • Access to third-party risk scoring and assessment data
  • Marketing opportunity to increase exposure for your companies services
  • The ability to target solicitations to preferred or selected vendors rather than the entire marketplace
How do I know which membership tier is right for my organization?

Community is ideal for organizations getting started and operating independently.

Professional is designed for organizations actively pursuing opportunities and looking to improve engagement outcomes.

Strategic is best for organizations seeking greater visibility, ongoing advisory support, and a more proactive growth strategy.

Can I upgrade my membership as my needs change?

Yes. Many organizations start with Community access and upgrade as they require additional advisory services, visibility opportunities, procurement guidance, or engagement support.

What can I use my cybersecurity and procurement support hours for?

Support hours can be used for topics such as vendor evaluation, procurement strategy, cybersecurity program guidance, RFx planning, marketplace navigation, and other engagement-related questions.

As a provider, how can I make the most of my Procurement Advisory hours?

Procurement Advisory hours give providers access to experienced procurement professionals who can help strengthen proposal submissions to ensure you respond clearly and completely while maintaining procurement trust.

Advisors can assist with:

Understanding solicitation requirements
Review RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations to help identify mandatory requirements, optional elements, and key evaluation criteria.

Proposal responsiveness reviews
Review draft responses to confirm solicitation requirements have been addressed and that formatting, submission, and compliance instructions have been followed.

Proposal development resources
Provide templates, checklists, and general guidance on writing stronger proposals.

Coaching on past performance and credentials
Offer guidance on how to effectively present qualifications, experience, and past performance in a credible and compliant manner.

Debrief support when feedback exists
Help interpret feedback provided by a client to help improve future proposal submissions.

Please note that Procurement Advisors do not write proposal content or provide competitive advantages that could compromise the fairness or integrity of the procurement process. Their role is to help providers submit more complete, compliant, and effective responses.

As a provider, how can I make the most of my Security Advisory hours?

Security Advisory hours help providers better understand compliance-focused buyers, ensuring the effectiveness of the offered solutions. Whether you're responding to an RFx, supporting a customer, or exploring new markets, our advisors can help you:

  • Understand compliance and procurement technical requirements like supply chain visibility, section 889 compliance, etc.

  • Ease the burden of discovery calls by translating customer requirements into practical technical and business discussions.

  • Help providers and clients map security controls across frameworks to identify overlaps, gaps, and compliance requirements.

  • Strengthen proposals and customer conversations by clearly connecting your services to compliance outcomes.

  • Explain technical concepts and security requirements to prospective customers with advisor support.

In short, Security Advisory hours help you align your offerings with customer needs, communicate your value more effectively, and uncover new opportunities within the RAMPxchange marketplace.

What happens if I don't use all of my support hours?

Unused support hours cannot be carried forward unless otherwise specified in your membership agreement. We encourage members to use their available time throughout the year to maximize value.

Who provides the cybersecurity and procurement guidance?

Support is delivered through experienced cybersecurity and procurement professionals who help members navigate complex purchasing and engagement decisions.

Can I post and respond to RFx opportunities with every membership?

Yes. Members listed as a seller have access to RFx participation beginning with the Community membership, allowing selling organizations to both post and respond to opportunities within the marketplace

What are "declined solicitation insights" included with Professional membership?

Professional members receive feedback on declined solicitations, helping them understand where responses may have fallen short and identify opportunities to improve future submissions.

How can membership help increase my visibility?

Professional and Strategic memberships offer additional benefits designed to strengthen marketplace presence, while Strategic members receive enhanced visibility opportunities, and dedicated engagement support.

What are Buy Now offerings?

Strategic members can publish Buy Now offerings, allowing organizations to engage directly with clearly defined services through the platform without a traditional RFx process.

What are third-party risk scores and why do they matter?

Third-party risk scores provide additional insights into an organization's risk posture, helping members make more informed decisions when evaluating potential partners and service providers.

Professional and Strategic memberships allow full access to scores, while Community members will see Low, Medium, or High-Risk scoring without additional details.

Can I showcase certifications and awards on my profile?

Yes. Members can display certifications, awards, and other credentials to help communicate expertise and build trust with potential partners.

What does a dedicated account manager do?

Strategic members receive a dedicated account manager who helps maximize platform value, identify opportunities, navigate engagements, and support long-term growth objectives.

Who typically chooses the Strategic membership?

Organizations that are focused on growing pipeline, increasing marketplace visibility, strengthening engagement performance, or receiving ongoing cybersecurity and procurement guidance often select Strategic membership.
